Nicoletta Playa Del Carmen

Such a lovely place! The decor is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and polite - top notch service! Drinks and food is delicious :) Yes it’s pricy however it’s quite a fancy restaurant and in my opinion totally worth it.

A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy some of the best food around. It truly feels like a little slice of Italy! We had the pizza with burrata and the broccoli with ricotta as a starter—both absolutely delicious. Special thanks to Alexis, Mario, and Jessica for their warm hospitality, great vibes, and helpful recommendations. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic night at Nicoletta, not only because of the nice table facing the main boulevard , but rather because of the amazing service I received from the Arlet and Jesus. Their wine recommendation was excellent and my burrata salad and the pizza were extremely tasty. They were extraordinarily attentive and great hosts. A must spot to visit when in Playa del Carmen!

The staff at Nicolettq was very attentive and friendly. Our servers Edson and Jesus were 10/10! The ambiance is very top and the playlist is the cherry on the top. Best Fettuccine our family has ever tasted.

The best restaurant in Playa Del Carmen! Mirka and Steffy provided incredible service! Sofia was an excellent hostess. The food was absolutely amazing and the fettuccini Alfredo table side was to die for.

The service was fantastic. The waiters went above and beyond to cater to us and we felt really really cared for. By far the best place to eat in Playa del Carmen. The food was impeccable and the waiters came over to check that everything was okay with the food. the atmosphere was amazing- it was very lively and in a great location. Special mention to Areli and Nava who were so nice and took great care of us. They gave us a cake for my friends birthday which was a lovely touch. Everthing was well priced aswell. Would come back again!

We had so much fun here! I loved all the cute details (a tree for my purse) the gimmicks (from birthday fireworks in people’s food to free truffles to making my fettuccini in front of me). The service was also exceptional and we never had to ask any questions, and they anticipated our needs with finesse. However, when they asked us if we wanted still or sparkling water they did not saying anything about it costing like 7/bottle so we drank two and were shocked by spending 15 American on *water*. So please be forewarned! Still loved it, but things like that take away from my enjoyment a bit when I’m not told about that. My husband said his food was good but not *great* (he got the ziti). I adored my fettuccini Alfredo - maybe the best I’ve ever had! I have morning sickness and threw it up afterwards and STILL ate my leftovers the next day.

Nicoletta delivers across-the-board excellence - food, service, and ambiance. Most good restaurants hit two of these, but it's rare to find all three at such a grand level. I had the fungi pizza, which was extraordinary. The dough was among the best I've ever eaten, charred and crispy at the edges but light and flaky inside. The tomato sauce is made in-house and has a perfect balance of tartness, sweetness, and fresh Italian seasonings. The cocktails were top-notch. I tried their signature negroni and a mojito. Both were masterly crafted, but the mojito was my favorite. The ambiance is elegant and uniquely ecclectic. The entire building is thoughtfully designed and intricately detailed both inside and out. See my photos for a look. The most impressive experiential attribute is the exceptional service rederered by the entire staff at Nicoletta's. So many restaurants consider themselves "fine dining" because they have a great chef, linen table cloths, and a well curated wine list. When it comes to points of service, however, frighteningly few meet muster. Here are a few things I noticed that most restaurants miss. 1) The ladies are served first at every course. 2) Items are delivered to the right person with precision. No auctioning off, "Who got the caesar?" 3) Server checks back within two minutes of delivering each item to ensure that it meets expectations. 4) When I asked where the restroom was, I was escorted there instead of getting directions. 5) A manager visited during the table during our main course to ensure that we were happy. He visited again at the end of our dessert course. Everything, from beginning to end, was a pure delight. I give Nicoletta my strongest endorsement and highly recommend that you visit when you come to PDC. You won't regret it.
